Meet Your Photographer
Hi, I’m Stacey Pryce—owner and photographer of Cute E’s Photography, and your Virginia Beach photographer for warm, genuine portraits and celebrations worth remembering. Blaine (my husband) and I started Cute E’s Photography in 2010 when we moved to the Virginia Beach area—he brought the business expertise, and I brought a lifelong love of photography—so we could pursue our dream of owning a photography business built on service, creativity, and connection.
Before photography became my full-time career, I was an elementary school teacher—and I’ve been taking photos for as long as I can remember. I genuinely love people, I’m patient and encouraging, and I love helping everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, which makes this the perfect fit.
Meet Emily, Our Second Shooter
Emily has been assisting and shooting weddings with her mom since she was 11, and she’s now the dedicated second shooter for Cute E’s Photography. When she’s not behind the camera, she runs her own jewelry business, Emster’s Earrings—and she truly loves connecting with new people.
The Story Behind Our Name
Cute E’s Photography got its name from our four wonderful children—the “Cute E’s”: Emily, Ethan, Elliott, and Elijah. They’re frequently recruited as models and usually don’t mind when Mom wants to “try something new”—whether that means wading through rivers fully dressed, covering them in flour for a few leaps, or dancing in the snow. After all these years, they’ve got plenty of stories about our creative adventures together.
My Photography Approach
My style is fun, creative, and laid-back—and I want you to truly enjoy your session and leave with a smile. I especially love when dads or kids who didn’t want to do photos tell me afterward, “That was actually fun… and painless!” I never want sessions to feel stressful or dreaded. I love what I do, and I want our time together to become a treasured memory, too.
As a mom of teens and adults, I know how much work it can be to get everyone dressed, out the door, and photo-ready. I’m always down for a good bribe, but I also work hard to get real, natural smiles (I can spot a fake one a mile away). I’m not the “say cheese” type—instead, I play games, chat, and keep things moving so families feel comfortable and the smiles come naturally.
